Kelly Services Quality Technician- Swedesboro, NJ in Swedesboro, New Jersey


Temporary to Hire

1st shift (6am to 3pm)

Core Skills:

  • As a QA Technician you will be responsible for ensuring overall Quality and Food Safety of Beef and Lam products in the facility.

  • Looking for someone with experience in Quality standards required by the USDA and other regulatory agencies relating to meat products.

  • Responsible for providing accurate documentation reports and follow GMP requirements.


  • Perform Receiving Inspections. Inspect returned goods, document findings, and provide disposition. Perform Shelf-Life testing and assist in sampling collection.

  • Perform Shelf-Life testing and assist in sampling collection.

  • Provide Chemically Lean testing results and fat testing.

  • Review finished product labels and perform Warehouse Documentation reviews.

  • Communicate Foreign Object discoveries and provide root cause identification and corrective action measures.

  • Execute Temperature Monitor Checks in accordance with the established HACCP program.

  • Execute ATP environmental swabbing in the facility (both food contact and non-food contact surfaces).


  • 1-2 years of experience in a fast paced, food manufacturing environment

  • Meat exposure / meat experience a plus

  • HACCP Certified preferred

  • USDA manufacturing exposure/experience a plus

  • Proficient user of Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook; able to complete formula

  • Ability to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

  • Understand and abide by all safety regulations as well as policies and procedure
