Stevens Treatment Programs empowers youth to lead successful lives through high quality treatment and education in a safe and nurturing environment.

Steven's Food Services Department operates out of one spacious and well-maintained kitchen and dining room. The Head Cook is part of a small team within a supportive work environment.

Under the supervision of the Chef Manager, the Head Cook is responsible for assisting the day-to-day operation of the Food Service Department. The Head Cook is responsible for the preparation of snacks and three nutritious, well-balanced meals each day for youth and staff. The Head Cook ensures that meals are prepared in conformity with all applicable nutritional requirements and guidelines.

Stevens is seeking an experienced, responsible, and hard-working individual to fulfill the role of Head Cook. The perfect candidate has positive leadership skills, strong communication skills, and takes pride in their work.

Schedule:

The Head Cook works a rotating schedule that includes on-call hours every other weekend and when scheduled. Overtime hours available for covering staff vacation time, as well as emergency coverage

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma Valid Drivers License and acceptable driving record Acceptable EEC Background Record check Experience in food service Willingness to become certified in Food Safety and Sanitation

Payrate: $23.00 - $24.00 (hourly)
