Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate knowledge of, and commitment to, agency mission and values.

  • Promote the mission and values of HMEA through effective leadership.

  • Maintainaccurateand complete records,reportsand data necessary to meet the requirements of HMEA and other certifying or regulatory agencies.

  • Assistand ensure program and consumer funds arehandled according to HMEA policies and procedures.

  • Maintain agency standards for confidentiality.

  • Represent HMEA and the individuals supported in a positive and professional manner at all times.

  • Demonstrate effective use of analytical skills,past experienceand logicin order torendersound and objective decisions.

  • Maintainday to dayoperations in Manager’s absence.

  • Promote teamwork; practiceopen communication and respect diversity.

  • Assistin training staff to develop skillsrequiredfor professional growth.

  • Complete required documentation ina timelyand professional manner.

  • Complete requiredtrainingsandmaintaincertifications.

  • Ensure the people’s rights, privacy and confidentiality are respected and serve as the program Human Rights Officer.

  • Promote the health andwell-beingof the individuals supported through ensuring quality health care andopportunitiesfor healthy lifestyles and choices.

  • Assistwith the development and implementation of ISP goals andobjectives.

  • Support the individuals to live a meaningful and socially rich life through planning and preparation.

  • Ensure that the home is wellmaintainedand that it promotes a positive image for the individuals who live there.

  • Encourage and support individuals to make independent choices to the greatest extent possible.

  • Support the individuals to develop andmaintaindesired relationships

  • Perform assigned tasks delegated by the Manager.

  • Perform otherreasonably relatedduties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Oneyearexperience in developmental services/behavioral health area preferred.

  • Valid driver’s license along with an acceptable driving status.

  • Use of a reliable vehicle, which seats two passengers.

  • Additionalspecific experience may berequired.
