Job DescriptionAbbott House is seeking a committed Assistant Residence manager to join the White Plains Group Homes team. In this role you will be support the Residence Manager in supervising and coordinating operations of the residential facility.About Abbott HouseAbbott House is an innovative community-based organization that helps children, families, adults and people with intellectual and developmental disabilities with complex needs build lasting foundations for a promising future. We operate programs in the New York Metropolitan area and Hudson Valley.Key Responsibilities-Ensure that the safety and well-being of the people who live in the residences is maintained at the highest level possible.-Assure compliance with the 624 regulations and Abbott House policy and procedures for insight reporting.-Coordinate medical appointments for the residents of the program-Review and sign off on all medical consults for the residents of the program-Complete bi-weekly medication/medical supply inventory check-Review all MAR’s to monitor for medication administration compliance, MD orders, and monthly blood pressure checks-Supervise direct care staff as it relates to data collection, active treatment and compliance with Abbott House policy and procedures.-Serve as program manager in the absence of the manager of the program.About YouYou are the ideal candidate if you have a passion empowering underserved communities.
