Job Overview

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

▪ Monitor the daily operation of GL and FA related procedures (e.g. journal entries booking, closing, reporting, FA accounting, etc.) to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, accounting principles and TE’s Corporate policies

▪ Review the accounting entries prepared by GL/FA accountants according to GAAP requirements, review system generated journal entries and make adjustment if necessary

▪ Prepare closing checklist and supervise closing activities

▪ Review reports prepared by GL/FA accountants in order to ensure compliance with GAAP requirements and Corporate policies, including HFM reports, statutory reports, other statistics/source reports, etc.

▪ Review accounts reconciliation reports prepared by GL/FA accountants and other accountants, and prepare account reconciliation status reports

▪ Review regular / ad-hoc reports and analysis to ensure quality and compliance with TE’s Corporate policies

▪ Prepare/review SOX documentation on GL&FA related functions in order to ensure the documents represent the company's existing situation, and implement an action plan to address the SOX findings in order to ensure compliance with SOX regulations and other Corporate policies

▪ Coordinate and support external and internal audits

▪ Assist Manager to identify potential areas for improvement, support the implementation of the initiatives in order to drive continuous optimization

▪ Mentor, develop and motivate the direct subordinates, monitor and review their performance, and help resolve people/functional issues in order to achieve targeted team performance

▪ Responsible for trouble shooting and problem resolution on day - to -day operation

▪ Updates training manual(s) to keep it current

▪ Assisting new project implementation

▪ Be back up of manager during the absence, and potential manager talent

What your background should look like:

REQUIREMENTS

▪ College degree or above, majoring in accounting, finance or a related field

▪ More than 5 years’ working experience in GL, experience in multi-national company or shared service environment is preferred

▪ Good knowledge of US GAAP, PRC accounting standards and related statutory regulations

▪ Good communication (written and oral) skills in both English and Mandarin

▪ Proficient in MS Office, SAP and Hyperion system experience is preferred

▪ Integrity, accountability, proactive working attitude, customer-oriented, self-motivated, ability to work under pressure

▪ Performing all assigned tasks & solve the problem independently

▪ Strong skills on people management
