We are the Microsoft’s mobile experiences team in the newly created Microsoft AI organization. We help our users stay focused on what really matters to them, across their whole life, by creating software experiences designed to meet their unique needs on all the devices they love. We ship innovative, industry-leading experiences on both phones and PCs, infused with Copilot and AI. Our vision is big enough to change how our users will experience their favorite Microsoft features and services in the new era of AI. Our team is responsible for a portfolio of our top-rated mobile apps, Copilot, Phone Link, Bing, SwiftKey and more, as well as several new experiences we are currently incubating.

We partner with global top Android OEMs to integrate and co-develop our software products to provide superb user experience. We are now seeking a (Senior) Program Manager, Android Ecosystem, to strengthen our global Strategic Partnerships Team. This role develops and manages strategic Android OEM product partnership. In addition, this role contributes to OEM strategy work for the software products that we own.

This is a high-visibility role that requires passion for mobile ecosystem, customer experience, and a strong ability to partner externally and internally with a diverse set of stakeholders to drive program execution.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and expand partnership with Android OEMs for Microsoft mobile products and services

  • Articulate product partnership propositions and create product marketing materials by working closely with product managers and product marketing managers

  • Build positive relationships and work effectively with product, design and engineering teams internally as well as counterparts in Android OEM organisation externally

  • Drive product and OEM distribution strategy through OEM market analysis and research

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ mobile software product/project management experience, preferably in a high scale mobile apps or operator/OEM environments.

  • Strong enthusiasm for mobile experiences and technical curiosity in Android environments

  • Excellent oral and written communication, presentation and analytical skills

  • Great cross-group cross-site collaboration skills; end to end coordination

  • Ability to navigate through complex product and process environment, with an eagerness to consistently meet and exceed commitments/objectives and take ownership of complex problems

  • A strong technical and business background

  • A Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Business Management, or equivalent experience
