Due to our continued growth and customer demand, we are hiring a Mechanical Engineer who will be based in Suzhou to support the Outdoor Wireless Network (OWN) business segment, which supports the backbone of outdoor cellular and Wi-Fi systems.

Provide engineering service within a team of design engineers to meet customer requirements and deadlines. Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to, Engineering Design, Project Engineering and Technical Services.

How You'll Help Us Connect the World

  1. Be responsible for evaluating technical requirements of new product and develop specifications from mechanical aspect per active communication with production line.

  2. Be responsible for feasibility study and concept development based on product line input.

  3. Be responsible for detailed design and modeling, working with other team members to make concept into proto design.

  4. Be responsible for BOM creation, drawing releasing, technical discussion with vendor

  5. Provide technical support to pilot and operation line, such as solving problems in batch production from design aspect.

  6. Support root cause analysis for test failures

  7. Acts as a key contributor within a project team. Direct or coordinate work of drafters, technicians, and other non-exempt personnel. Provide mentoring / suggestion to other engineers from both technical and project management perspectives.

  8. Actively acts in a LEAD position for any new technology study and new technical problem solving.

Required Qualifications for Consideration

  1. A completed bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering required. A completed Master´s Degree in Engineering or related disciplined preferred.

  2. 8 years+ working experience in mechanical design, 5 years+ working experience in base station antenna design is required.

  3. Experience in sheet metal, plastic injection molding, die casting.

  4. Experience in finish on metal part, such as galvanizing, anodizing, plating, painting, passivation, etc.

  5. Experience in welding process and weld part design is a plus.

  6. Good understanding and actual handling of tolerance analysis and GD&T.

  7. Design experience in cavity PSA in base station antenna will be a plus.

  8. Experience in fastener and torque analysis will be a plus.

  9. Good command of written and spoken English. Written is a MUST, spoken is plus.

  10. Proven experience in analysis and design of structural design.

  11. Experience in developments of whole products from concept to sold product.

  12. Familiar with structure simulation software, such as ANSYS workbench or SolidWorks simulation.

  13. Excellent problem solving, fast learning, team play, and interpersonal communication abilities are essential.
