Job title:

MR System Engineer

Your role:

This individual is responsible for the overall Systems Engineering deliverables and activities for the Magnetic resonance imaging system, including translation of user requirements, technical approach and system architecture development, harmonization of system design among the relevant products and projects of the segment(s), allocation of derived requirements to subsystems, and integration strategy and methods. The core responsibility of this function is to develop globally-optimum solutions (i.e. amongst all system elements: subsystems, hardware, and software) that meet user requirements.

  • Overall technical leadership and responsibility for the technical realization of MRI system design.

  • Drives refinement and translation of user requirements (including but not limited to clinical, serviceability, reliability and manufacturability), regulatory requirements, and system architecture and concepts into functional requirements. Manage requirements to be compliance with requirement management policies and ensure coverage, quality and full-implementation of requirements.

  • Responsible on technical approach, system top level design, feasibility of potential technical solutions, and allocation of derived requirements (including functionality, interface specifications and design budgets) onto affected subsystems.

  • Plans and executes system-level design reviews.

  • Harmonizes common features, system functions and improvement solutions across relevant products Harmonizes system Integration among relevant products and releases in the product family.

  • Owns system-level defect analysis and remediation during System Integration, Verification and Validation phases.

  • Interfaces with Production and Service Innovations.

  • Support Product Risk Management, regulatory and standard fulfillment and country approval.

You're the right fit if:

  • Master’s or PhD degree in Physics or Engineering with MR physics background.

  • Minimum 3 years of intensive experience in Systems engineering, rich experience at standard and risk management.

  • Strong influencing skill and stakeholder management skill.

  • Strong problem-solving skills required.

  • Excellent technical writing and presentation skills to multiple levels of management. Fluency in English.

  • Strong understanding of requirement management tools.

  • Healthcare related industry experience required, experience in MR preferred.

  • Project management experience preferred.

  • NMPA project submission experience preferred.
