Location: Suzhou, Jiangsu, China.

Job Description:

  • We are seeking a passionate and innovative person to join our ME Acoustics Team at Logitech Human Interface Devices (HID) engineering team. The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate who is eager to contribute to the research and development of digital sound for electronic consumer products. As an Electroacoustic Trainee, you will be a key member of our R&D team, focusing on the creation and implementation of digital sound for electronic consumer products. You will be involved in all aspects in sound engineering, from initial concept creation to final validation testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in speaker selection, and design of acoustic chamber and speaker location for electronic consumer products.

  • Work with the R&D team to design the entire mechanical & electroacoustic system.

  • Responsible for the development and verification of the electroacoustic testing.

  • Responsible for writing relevant analysis reports and test result reports to support technical documents and management reporting.

  • Participate in subjective sound quality testing and analysis to evaluate product sound performance and provide suggestions for improvements.

  • Adjust equalizer (EQ) settings to achieve optimal sound performance.

  • Assist in the development of sound algorithms for dynamic sound effects.

  • Helps create electroacoustic documentation and standards for electronic consumer products development.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Electro-Acoustics, Audio Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of electroacoustic principles and audio signal processing techniques.

  • Proficient in using relevant testing equipment: e.g. Soundcheck, KLIPPEL, Clio.

  • Familiar with speaker material properties, product testing methods and standards

  • Proficient in using CAE and 3D software: e.g. Comsol, ANSYS, Creo.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Electroacoustic product development experience is strongly preferred.
