4 Full Time Seasonal H-2A Jobs available 05/01/2024 - 10/21/2024.

All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform the work described in this job description and must be available for the entire period of employment specified in box 3 and 4, page 1. Workers are needed to plant, maintain and harvest diversified ground crops. Workers will use hand and power tools such as but not limited to: shovels, hoes, pruners, irrigation pumps and chainsaws. Workers must have the knowledge of soil tillage and the ability to apply fertilizers and pesticides and operate and repair farm machinery. Workers will perform other activities related to production of crops. Workers will operate trucks or other multi-purpose vehicles to transport workers from housing (whether on or off farm) to the farm properties; haul tools, supplies, or crops; transport workers from place to place around the farm properties during the workday (including on public roads to reach farmers fields); and or transport workers to the grocery store, bank, or Western Union Moneygram on an as-needed basis. Those that are requested to drive will be required to possess a valid drivers license, no worker will be rejected for not having a drivers license. Workers must be willing to work in varied weather ranging from extremely cold in the spring and fall to hot, humid summer days. Work is physically demanding requiring workers to stand, bend, stoop, and kneel for long periods of time. Workers must have ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis. Workers may require to work 8 hours shift between the hours of 7:00am - 7:00pm from Monday through Friday. Workers must be available to work Saturdays. Employer will furnish to workers without cost all tools and equipment required to perform duties assigned. Workers will be given a 30 minute lunch break and a 15 minute break in the morning and afternoon. Beginning and ending times will vary depending on the crop conditions. Beginning and ending times may vary depending upon weather and crop conditions. Workers must be able to take direction in simple English.
