The Group Lead will provide direction and support to employees within one or more assigned departments or areas. They also operate blow mold machines and other machines and follow our company's Good Manufacturing Practices.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:As a Team Leader candidate must ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.Coordinate activities of warehouse, production, quality control or maintenance teams.Prepare accurate and timely reports.Other duties as assigned by a management.Provide leadership to personnel in one or more of the departments listed below:Warehouse:Determine method of shipment by examining items to be shipped, destination, route, rate, and time of shipment.Load and unload trucks and secure product in accordance with customer requirements, inspect incoming materials.Record shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availabilityClear jams on bagger or conveyor.Operate bagger equipment and switches.Train warehouse workers.Direct and coordinate the activities of other workers engaged in handling goods to be shipped or being received.Supply machines with raw materials, such as slip sheets, corner boards and top frames to allow for continuous production.Production:Operate blow-mold machines (including wheels, reciprocating or shuttle machines) to ensure production of quality bottles and perform audits, weights and quality checks.Train blow mold or injection machine operators and palletizer operators.Troubleshoot and resolve process problems and make minor repairs to blow-mold and support equipment.Adhere to quality control and to blow mold process procedure.Repair or replace pneumatic and hydraulic lines.Perform mechanical adjustments and repairs.Assist the maintenance department with preventive maintenance, mold, neck and blow pin and other mechanical changes.Prepare & document daily production reports, including rejects, regrinds, line efficiencies and other.Maintenance:Perform all functions of a maintenance mechanic.Operate blow mold and other machines.Train maintenance technicians.Perform mold, neck tooling, pin and other equipment changes.Install, adjust and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer and other related equipment.Troubleshoot and locate root problems and repair blow mold, baggers & support equipment.Troubleshoot and program PLC systems.Perform hydraulic and pneumatic checks and replaces valves, hoses and pumps.Perform preventive maintenance on all related blow mold and equipment.Quality:Develop and implement quality related training programs for all employees.Comply with AIB, IMS and company GPMs.Analysis of First Piece Inspections.Apply statistical tools and techniques to monitor plant performance and finished goods.Audit compliance with GMP policies.Perform in-process inspections of manufactured product during molding, packaging and loading.Communicate quality issues and out of specifications conditions to appropriate personnel and with shift leaders.Complete laboratory testing and collect samples at established intervals.

QUALIFICATIONS:The requirements listed below are minimum requirements for the job.
