Aerotek BC Forklift in Surrey, British Columbia

Aerotek is looking to hire 5 Forklift Operators to work at a cross dock facility in Surrey.

Job duties

  • This individual will be responsible for off-loading and on-loading all goods from container using a propane SDCB forklift.

  • Will be on FL about 80% of the shift and will be busy, requires operator to be operating quickly but also safely around tight quarters

  • The product is freight - varies on each trailer - can be very heavy and all different shaped so they will need experience working with freight

  • Using paper shipping documents to ensure product is being loading/unloaded correctly

  • It is a open facility but with the volume they will be required to turn tight corners

  • They need someone that can move small to large shipments.


  • 1 year of experience operating a SDCB Forklift (for 60% or more of the day)

  • 1 year of experience working with freight (cross dock, LTL)

  • Experience loading and unloading trailers using forklift

  • Valid forklift ticket

  • experience using paper shipping documents

  • able to lift 50 pounds (sometimes repetitively)
