Ally Pediatric Therapy RBT Surprise in Surprise, Arizona

Ally Pediatric Therapy, a specialty clinic for children with autism and other childhood disorders, is looking for Behavior Technicians or Registered Behavior Technicians to join our growing team.

Our purpose is to be an ally in growth to the children and families we serve. We do this by integrating the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and speech-language pathology expertise. This isn't just a job to us, we go home each day knowing we made a difference and think about how we can build on that tomorrow.

As a Behavior Technician, your mission will be to utilize the principles of ABA to improve the lives of children with autism spectrum disorder.

You will provide behavior therapy to support and encourage growth and skill development. You will assist in the delivery of behavioral and treatment goals. Your work will directly change the lives of children we serve.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Convert delivered sessions within 24 hours of session end

  • Identify and use appropriate antecedent strategies

  • Identify ABCs of behavior

  • Maintain high quality, objective session notes

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide ABA therapy with the support and direction of a BCBA

  • Collaborate with treatment team, including other Behavior Technicians, BCBAs, and SLPs

  • Participate in ongoing training

  • Actively seek clinical direction and guidance from supervisor

  • Maintain professional boundaries per BACB and Ally ethical codes of conduct

  • Demonstrate ability to consistently accept and apply BCBA feedback

  • Meet BACB and Ally RBT supervision requirements

  • Work directly with any assigned clients, including sub assignments

  • Implement program descriptions as written by the SC with fidelity

  • Creatively target goals/programs and activities based on clients’ individual interests

  • Delivers 90% or more of scheduled billable hours over the quarter

Requirements

  • Must be creative, energetic, playful and have a natural ability in interacting with children

  • Registered Behavior Technician certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hiring

  • Experience working with young children

  • ABA experience is a plus

  • Good analytical/critical thinking skills with the ability to record and track therapy progress

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships

  • High school diploma

  • Fingerprint clearance card, CPR & First Aid certification

Physical Requirements

  • This is an active job. You will have to lift and carry clients. You will be required to move with the client, which means you will be kneeling, squatting, standing, and sitting on the floor for extended periods of time. You will have to move quickly to ensure client's are safe.
