Freedom Powersports Powersports Technician in Surprise, Arizona

RideNow Powersports, a subsidiary of RumbleOn, is looking to add a Service Technician to our Surprise location! If you are seeking an opportunity to work in a cool environment with cool people, look no further! We offer growth potential, unlimited resources through our network of over 50 dealerships around the country, and a constant flow of inventory to keep you busy!

Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on Motorcycles, UTV's, ATV's, Dirt Bikes, Jet Skis, etc

  • Repair, customize, maintain, or overhaul both customer and dealer owned motor vehicles as close to the allotted time schedule as possible

  • Complete repair work within the scheduled or allotted time whenever possible

  • Maintain productivity as close to 100% as possible

  • Perform service, repair, and customization work in accordance with factory specifications

  • Assist Service Writer, when requested, with writing up work orders, communication with customers, test riding, or any other issue which will help ensure customer satisfaction

  • Notify Service Writer/Manager of additional work needed or any delays in expected completion as soon as they become known so that customer may be contacted and notified of the delay

  • Properly clock in/out of repair orders (R.O.S).

  • Maintain a clear driver’s license with a motorcycle endorsement and an acceptable driving record and be able to test drive customer units.

Requirements

  • MMI Graduate or equivalent manufacturer certifications preferred

  • Must have 2-3+ years of verifiable motorcycle/powersports technician experience

  • Master Certs or A/B level certifications preferred

  • Own a set of comprehensive tools

  • Valid driver's license with motorcycle endorsement and clean driving record

  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

  • Detail oriented

  • Self-motivated, organized and punctual
