JOB REQUIREMENTS: Worker Type: Employee Group: Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Department Job Post End Date: 06/01/2024 About this opportunity: Cenovus Energy is looking for a Maintenance Planner reporting to the Planning and Scheduling Manager located in Superior, WI. This individual will be responsible for reviewing, estimating, and keeping a record of all work requests, which includes requests for labor tools, material and equipment. As well as planning work activities, ensuring safe work practices, and ensuring company policies and procedures, serving as backup supervisor for the maintenance team What you\'ll do: * Plan maintenance activities utilizing archived plans, updated drawings, and field verification to ensure accuracy. * Work with Asset Care to update the information provided by either feedback or other research during the planning phase. * Drive all phases of the Maintenance Work Process * Create granular plans with estimated hours per task. * Ensure BOM\'s are accurate and up to date. * Maintain an efficient work environment that promotes employee participation and develops leadership skills. * Responsible for following all safety policies and guidelines as established by Cenovus Energy * Maintain a clean and safe work environment including active participation in monthly Safety Meetings * Provide backup supervision coverage for the maintenance team. Who you are: * Must be legally eligible to work in the USA. * High School diploma/GED, or equivalent * 10 years of experience in industrial field, including trouble shoot and repair. * 2 years\' experience as a maintenance coordinator dealing with CMMS, contractor support and maintenance processes. Preferred: * Bachelor\'s degree in finance, Business or other related field * 5 years of experience with a computer managed maintenance system (CMMS) such as Tabware, SAP * 2 years of experience in the oil and gas industry including significant experience with contractors, maintenance process and procedures * Proficient with MS Office Applications including Excel, Word and Outlook * Writing and verbal communication skills * Knowledge of Cenovus policies and reporting procedures * Expertise on safety standards and procedures and regulatory standards * Plant or field operations knowledge or experience * What we offer: * Company-provided medical and dental benefits * Time-off * Retirement Savings Plan * Tuition & Professional Development Assistance * Employee Volunteer Hours Note: The application deadline for this position is 11:59 PM MT May 31, 2024.
