WHAT YOU’LL DO:
The Director of Logistics and Supplies is responsible for implementing and overseeing the smooth and efficient operation of the StaRN logistic and supply departments. The position will coordinate and direct all activities related to all Educational Program such as schedules, venues, equipment, transportation, storage, distribution, and inventory management. The Director will also be responsible for managing staff and providing guidance to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Establishes strong internal and external relationships in a professional manner. This position will work closely and will support all Education leadership and Staff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO :
Communicates (written/verbal) with business owners, vendors and all level of company employees.
Ensures accuracy of Educational Program schedules and daily operational activities
Ensures needed resources are available when needed in each cohort
Compiles reports from data and existing records, gathers information and develops summaries as requested
Coordinates all shipping and receiving material at various educational sites
Develops and implements budget and operational plans
Develops, implements office procedures related to Logistic Coordinators responsibilities, communication, training, records and systems
Ensures compliance with standardized procedures
Manages equipment and supplies associated with all Educational Programs
Oversee Supply Chain Order management SMART
Manages relationships with equipment providers and vendors
Regulate procurement, processing and logistics of equipment and supplies for classroom, skills, simulation, and specialties portions of the StaRN programs.
Participates in Process development team
Oversee internal equipment and supply inventory, repairs, and logistics
Notifies management and clinical instructors of changes to equipment and supplies
Manages material handling costs for all equipment and supplies
Collaborates with HCA and oversee point of use materials at facility owned training centers
Support curriculum development team to identify and obtain current market supplies and send alert notices of items to be discontinued
Any other duties as assigned serves on HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Disaster Team and participates in all activities related to readiness, planning, and implementation

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in related field, Master’s degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years management experience in Supply Chain or Logistics. Previous healthcare experience strongly preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Position requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching
Position requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment
Requires normal range of hearing, verbal communication and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriately to perform job responsibilities
Lifting paper or boxes up to 40 pounds occasionally
Work will be stressful at times. Contact may involve dealing with angry or upset people
Staff must remain flexible and available to provide staffing assistance for any/all disaster or emergency situations
