As a successful Sr Security TPM within GME Security, you will be a leader who prioritizes well, communicates clearly and understands how to drive a high level of operational and strategic excellence within a team, while collaborating with a variety of internal and external business partners.

Key job responsibilities

  • Security Strategy and Leadership:

  • Develop and champion a holistic security strategy that aligns with business objectives and prioritizes customer experience enhancement.

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to communicate the strategic importance of security in delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with product, engineering, design, and customer experience teams to integrate security measures seamlessly into the product development lifecycle.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor, helping implement security best practices while fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment that balances security requirements with user needs.

Customer-Centric Security Initiatives:

  • Identify opportunities to enhance customer experiences through security measures, such as frictionless authentication methods and transparent privacy features.

  • Champion the implementation of cutting-edge security technologies that not only protect customers but also enhance their interactions with our products and services.

Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure security measures adhere to relevant regulations and standards, while minimizing impact on customer experiences.

  • Assess and manage security risks, proactively identifying potential vulnerabilities and designing mitigation strategies that align with business goals.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to leverage advancements in security to create innovative customer experiences.

  • Lead the evaluation and adoption of new tools, techniques, and methodologies that enhance security while maintaining seamless customer interactions.

A day in the life

  • Security Engagement, operates as an internal consultancy that defines and drives secure architectural and deployment strategies across GME's most critical projects and have an executive mandate to design to the highest security standards.

  • Developer Engagement, which is focused post- design and near- code release and subscribes to the Application Security "shift left" mentality. We are responsible for shepherding the right mixture of code review tools to support the GME Security Engineering (SE) community, building and deploying state-of-the art code analysis and fuzzing tools.

  • Operations engagement which facilitates penetration testing, red-teaming and bug bounty initiatives across all of GME Security.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

  • 5+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $119,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
