We are looking for an outgoing professional with high analytical capacity, creativity, attention to detail, and strong social skills to support the WW AppleCare Finance Organization. The position requires the ability to complete complex financial analysis, work cross-functionally and with local teams in the region, develop and execute business strategies, identify business opportunities, and recommend and present business updates to senior management. The position is the perfect intersection of Finance, Business Partnering, and Data Science.

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience applying analytical techniques to business problems

  • Knowledge of data design and analysis, inclusive of data pre-processing, cleaning, editing, model building and analysis

  • Solid technical database knowledge (Oracle / PL) and experience optimizing SQL queries on large data

  • Ability to retrieve, analyze, and manipulate large datasets; experience with Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, and/or Business Objects

  • Ability to provide relevant business insights with data

  • Data visualization experience in Tableau, Power BI or similar tool

  • Excellent presentation, communication, and social skills, with solid attention to detail

  • Strong business mindset, possessing an ability to condense complex analysis and technical concepts into clear and concise takeaways for business leaders

  • Ability to comprehensively understand data elements, sources, and relationships in business and technical terms.

  • Creativity to go beyond current tools to deliver the best solution to the problem

Description

This is a unique opportunity that entails the following primary responsibilities: - Build and maintain database tables related to Contact Center Outsourced vendor invoicing. - Maintain, optimize, and improve the invoicing SQL queries to calculate worldwide monthly invoices for contact center vendors to meet business needs. - Maintain the PHP-based outsourced vendor web tool that runs the custom SQL stored procedures of invoicing. - Collaborate with the Global Vendor Strategy team, Contact Center Forecasting & Analysis team, and Procurement regarding vendor strategies and vendor contracted rates. - Partner with Information Systems & Technology and Business Process Re-Engineering teams to work on Capital projects enhancing the Vendor Communications tool. - Design and build Tableau dashboards based on vendor invoicing data to visualize the data and provide meaningful insights to senior management.

Education & Experience

B.S. or equivalent experience in a related field or M.S. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Operations, Finance or a related field

Additional Requirements

  • Experience with creating web-based applications (Ruby / Python / PHP) preferred Experience with data science algorithms preferred Understanding of financial principles and theories preferred

Pay & Benefits

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $131,300.00 and $197,400.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
