Position Title: SAP TM (Transportation Management) Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP TM Manager who possesses a unique blend of business acumen and technical expertise to lead workshops and drive business-led conversations in the realm of transportation management. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, enhancement, and optimization of SAP TM solutions to meet the dynamic needs of our clients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Project Management:

  2. Lead and manage SAP TM implementation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budget constraints.

  3. Provide guidance, mentorship, and direction to project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.

  4. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and effectively communicating project status, risks, and issues.

  5. Business Analysis and Requirements Gathering:

  6. Facilitate workshops with clients to understand their transportation management needs and translate business requirements into actionable project plans.

  7. Conduct in-depth analysis of existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization through SAP TM solutions.

  8. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.

  9. Technical Expertise and Solution Design:

  10. Utilize your in-depth technical knowledge of SAP TM functionality to design comprehensive and scalable solutions that address client requirements.

  11. Work closely with development teams to customize and configure SAP TM modules to align with business processes and industry best practices.

  12. Stay abreast of the latest SAP TM trends, updates, and innovations, providing thought leadership and recommendations for continuous improvement.

  13. Stakeholder Management and Relationship Building:

  14. Cultivate strong relationships with clients, fostering trust and collaboration to drive successful project outcomes.

  15. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT professionals, and external vendors, to ensure seamless integration and deployment of SAP TM solutions.

  16. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance and recommendations to optimize transportation management processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP TM implementation, configuration, and project management.

  • Proven track record of successfully leading SAP TM projects, from requirements gathering to deployment, preferably in a managerial capacity.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and articulate complex business processes and requirements.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience mentoring and developing junior team members.

  • SAP TM certification is a plus.
