Ion Chromatography and Sample Preparation Business Unit within the Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Division

How will you make an impact?

This role will lead a team to manage product quality across a global footprint of manufacturing sites and drive product quality forward for the leading manufacturer of Ion Chromatography products worldwide. The success of this role is realized through improved product quality measures and higher customer satisfaction through an extraordinary quality experience with Ion Chromatography Systems.

What will you do?

  • Regularly leverage production and field data to identify, prioritize and coordinate improvement projects with cross-functional teams across a global network of manufacturing sites.

  • Lead and inspire a strong product quality culture by establishing and actively managing performance expectations, while providing development and training opportunities.

  • Proactively engage team members to ensure product or process issues are identified and addressed in a timely manner.

  • Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented effectively to address the root cause of quality complaints and failures.

  • Support new product development teams throughout the product lifecycle to enable operational success through and beyond mass production.

  • Monitor and drive performance through product quality metrics. Highlight project status, elevate identified risks and share quality readiness to business unit and division leadership.

  • Drive consistent problem-solving methodology across the business and sites.

How will you get here?

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred in technical/scientific or related field

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, quality engineering or manufacturing engineering, with at least 2 of those in people management

  • Experience with new product introductions, design for quality, manufacturability, reliability.

  • Experience in process improvement, non-conformance management, risk management

  • Project management skills to drive cross functional teams to meet goals and objectives

  • Familiarity with validation process design and process validation, change control, and auditing quality management systems preferred

  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001, 13485 or similar quality management systems

  • Able to travel occasionally (<15%) domestic and international

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $113,000.00–$168,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
