Do you love creating elegant solutions to highly complex challenges? Do you intrinsically see the importance of every detail? As part of our Silicon Technologies group, you’ll help design and manufacture our next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient processor, system-on-chip (SoC). You’ll ensure Apple products and services can seamlessly and efficiently handle the tasks that make them beloved by millions. Joining this group means you’ll be responsible for crafting and building the technology that fuels Apple’s devices. Together, we will enable our customers to do all the things they love with their devices! In this exciting and highly visible role, you will support and enhance a complex system that can be used to run various analysis, QA, and release processes for a large set of IPs. The role will require cross-collaboration with CAD and design team colleagues.
Description
- Support and enhance automation solutions that greatly reduce design workload. - Support and enhance an in-house UI that simplifies visualizing and monitoring extremely large workloads. - Develop utilities to extract, track, and lead metrics data from analysis flows. - Work with the dashboard team to develop rich dashboards that the design teams can use to get detailed information for each IP. - Develop and support utilities to run Pre-QA and Post-QA steps for internal flows. - Interface and collaborate with multiple CAD/design teams, integrate their flows into our framework.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of VLSI design fundamentals and design flows for custom and ASIC designs
Programming language experience in Perl or Python
Knowledge of basic ML algorithms and LLM fundamentals
Minimum requirement of BS degree and 0+ years of relevant industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications
Proficient with programming languages like Python, Perl, C++, etc.
Strong programming, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience with frameworks like React is a plus.
Experience with tools like Splunk, MySQL, Perforce, and Git is a plus.
Demonstrate innovative and creative thinking capabilities.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $121,900 and $183,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
