Company Overview:

We are a real estate management company overseeing a diverse portfolio that includes residential, commercial, and industrial properties. We are seeking a competent and diligent Maintenance Worker to join our team.

Job Summary:

As a member of our maintenance team, you will work under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Manager, performing general maintenance and repairs across various interior and exterior aspects of our properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute repair tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting, under the direction of the Maintenance Manager.
  • Promptly address maintenance requests and emergencies as assigned, ensuring effective communication and resolution.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities performed and materials utilized.
  • Assist in preparing apartments for occupancy by new tenants.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable experience in maintenance work, ideally within a real estate or property management context.
  • Proficiency in various maintenance disciplines such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting.
  • Competency in the safe and efficient use of tools and equipment.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively under the guidance of the Maintenance Manager.
  • Availability for emergency response outside of regular working hours.
  • A valid driver's license, cell phone, and reliable means of transportation.
  • Able to lift 70lbs individually; or greater using team-lift coordination.
  • Able to sit, stand, crawl, crouch for extended periods of time.
  • Able to climb ladders, as well as, perform tasks on such or at elevated heights.
