We are looking for a motivated and driven individual who is excited about working in a Dynamic engineering role within the organization. This individual needs to be passionate about engineering and display strong project management skills. Strong interpersonal skills are essential to be successful within the engineering team. The candidate needs to display accountability and ownership of their work. The candidate needs to have a passion for ensuring quality and integrity is built into the projects and products they are responsible for which ultimately meets the customer’s needs Description . - Automotive manufacturing experience is preferred, with preference towards high volume assembly operations. . Displays experience project managing capital investment projects and the budget associated with a project. . Proven ability to manage multiple projects on a simultaneous basis and manage to a self-developed schedule. . Must be able to provide examples of project ownership from start to finish along with displaying examples of, project scope development, solution analysis through data gathering, Return on investment justification, preparing and managing a build schedule, managing to an install plan, training associates to a process, confirming quality and safety systems, troubleshooting process maturation issues. . An individual with the ability to display a logical and systematic thought process. . Strong troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and time management skills will be essential in this position. Ability to interface at multiple levels and operate within cross-functional teams is critical. . CAD skills are required, AutoCad at a minimum. Experience with Solid Edge is highly preferred. . Experience with Lean Manufacturing methods is crucial. . Experienced in developing poka-yokes and simple equipment modifications. Ability to reverse engineer product as required. - preferable . Experience in designing and implementing solutions to production equipment problems, from simple modifications to complete equipment design and build issues. . Exceptional skills in time and project management. . Ability to give clear presentations of technical data up to executive level. Displays the skill to navigate communication across cultural boundaries. . Discuss with vendors, staff and management personnel regarding purchases, procedures, product specifications, manufacturing capabilities and project status.
