We are looking to add a Japanese- English Interpreter to our team in Sunbury, OH. Our ideal candidate will be able to provide Japanese/ English bilingual translation support (both verbal and written) to our team in addition to various administrative duties. This position mostly consists of an office environment with daily exposure to the warehouse and production.

What You Will Do:

  • Interpret meetings, conversations, emails, and documents in both English and Japanese.
  • Track data in multiple digital platforms with a high focus on Microsoft Office.
  • Assist in preparing technical and administrative documents for projects and presentations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary documents and sensitive conversations.
  • Complete general administrative duties as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols while in the manufacturing/ production plant.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication in both English and Japanese.
  • Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Administrative and technical experience, preferably in manufacturing production.
  • Ability to create and facilitate presentations in both languages.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize various tasks and projects.

This position requires the ability to walk, stand, sit, and reach. This is an open office/ plant environment that creates moderate to high noise levels.
