HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT - (Bilingual Spanish/English)

Full Time Position

On site in Sun Valley, CA

Compensation Range: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour

We are looking for a motivated, ambitious, and people focused Human Resources Assistant. This role will have a wide range of responsibilities supporting the entire employee lifecycle. This is a highly visible role with room for growth. We are looking to fill this role with a high performing individual who is looking to grow their skills and professional career in Human Resources.

Job Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a Human Resource capacity

  • Spanish speaking/reading/writing fluency (Preferred)

  • Working knowledge of workers compensation, employee relations, onboarding/offboarding process, policy management, etc.

  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing principles

  • High proficiency of Microsoft Suite & Google Suite

  • Strong initiative, self-driven to deliver results with minimal supervision

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent preferred

Job Responsibilities:

  • Organize new hire onboarding process, including review of company policies, collection and processing of new hire paperwork

  • Address employee questions regarding company policies, procedures, and benefit plans

  • Oversee employee evaluations, including meeting coordination, performance review, and follow-up with supervisors

  • Maintain integrity/confidentiality of all employee personnel files

  • Record changes on all employee states as necessary; i.e. change of address, rate increases, terminations, etc.

  • Monitor compliance with applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations

  • Provides support to leadership team as needed

  • Performs other duties as assigned
