Prairie Ridge Health Physical Therapist - 1.0 FTE in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin

Prairie Ridge Health is looking for a team member to join our Rehab Department within the Sun Prairie Clinic in the role of Physical Therapist. Individuals will begin training in Columbus and then transition to the Sun Prairie Clinic once it has opened (tentatively October 2024). This position is a 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week) and will be responsible for providing direct patient care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.....

POSITION SUMMARY

The staff Physical Therapist is responsible for providing direct patient care to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations through the use of evaluation methods and techniques, exercise, equipment, and physical agents to improve strength, balance, coordination, range of motion, and to decrease pain to restore a patient’s optimal functional mobility, as well as provide education for the prevention of further injuries.

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION

  • Doctorate, masters degree or baccalaureate degree in Physical Therapy from a fully accredited physical therapy program.

  • Valid Physical Therapy license in the State of Wisconsin

  • CPR certification

  • Computer knowledge is preferred

  • Experience in clinical physical therapy preferred

FTE: 1.0

Shift: Monday-Friday, days
