Office Manager

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:   

· Process and maintain personnel records. Develop, implement and maintain an adequate personnel filing system.

· Maintain confidentiality of all information in accordance with the Privacy Act, as well as established personnel policies governing the release of information.

· Perform reception, telephone/switchboard duties.

· Type documents, reports, letters, etc. with high accuracy.

· Maintain privacy of records, conditions and other information relating to residents, employees and facility.

· Perform assigned tasks in accordance with policies and procedures, and as instructed by the Administrator.

· Operate copier, office machines, computer/word processor, etc. as directed.

· Prepare and mail statements in accordance with established billing procedures.

· Maintain files on purchase orders, invoices, paid vouchers, canceled checks, etc. as directed.

· Maintain current file and listing of residents, emergency phone numbers of on-call personnel, key personnel, etc.

· Assist in completing forms, reports, etc. not considered as essential functions.

Required SkillsRequired Experience

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:   

· Minimum of six months experience in payroll, insurance and/or clerical position. Preferable to have two years experience in payroll, insurance and/or clerical position.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:  

· An Associate of Arts degree or diploma from a technical school, with courses in related subjects.
