Our client, a leading financial services company, is seeking a Software Engineer 4/Actimize ActOne to join their team. In this role, you will be part of the EFT Risk & Internal Audit department supporting Actimize Case Manager applications. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, strong analytical background, and experience working in an Agile environment.

Job Title: Software Engineer 4/Actimize ActOne

Location: Summit, NJ

Pay Range: $80-$85 per hour W2 Only (We can not work with 1099/3rd parties Corp to Corp) - Sponsorship available.

What's the Job?

  • Provide technical consultation and support in the development of computer applications and programs.

  • Analyze business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign computer solutions.

  • Develop original and/or complex code or provide coding guidance to less experienced staff.

  • Lead and/or perform analysis efforts.

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments.

  • Contribute to large scale planning of test strategies.

  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments.

  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures.

  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements.

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals.

  • Verifies program logic with good quality test data, unit testing and debugging of programs.

  • Participates in overall systems testing. Helps in the migration of applications to production.

  • Helps with new documentation, participates in the development of department technical procedures and user guides.

  • Helps in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or system problems.

  • Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees updating and testing of the business continuation plan.

What's Needed?

  • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

  • 2+ Experience using NICE Actimize Case Management solution development (ActOne / RCM).

  • 1+ years of hands-on experience of ActOne/RCM Java plugin development.

  • 4+ years of SQL.

  • 2+ year of experience writing code in Java application and knowledge of Java memory model.

  • 2+ years of experience in 12-factor and Cloud Native patterns.

  • 1+ years of cloud experience such as AWS, Azure, PCF, etc.

  • 2+ years of experience with Test Frameworks, Capabilities & Tools: such as Junit, TestNG, Selenium, Test Driven Development (TDD); Behavioral Driven Development (BDD): Cucumber/Gherkin.

  • 2+ years of enterprise experience with CI/CD implementation, configuration management and orchestration tools: Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, GitHub Actions.

  • 2+ years of experience with database platforms like Mongo, Oracle DB, SQL Server, etc.

  • 2+ years of experience in Kafka.

  • 2+ years working in an Agile environment.

What's in it for me?

  • RTO schedule - 3 days in office MANDATORY. No hard requirements to be in office on these days, but Tuesday and Wednesday are the sprint days and it would be preferred.
