Bob Evans Farms operates in multiple convenience foods categories within grocery and club. It holds #1 market positions in three major categories. This winning brand has been experiencing strong growth, a trend it's expecting to continue mostly through its leadership in the refrigerated dinner and breakfast categories. Bob Evans Farms products are distributed nationally in retailers throughout North America. Responsibilities This position is 3rd shift Position Summary: This position will provide technical support in the manufacturing plants. Quality assurance technicians (QAT’s) provide guidance to Operations on technical requirements and specifications. Duties and Responsibilities Perform routine CCP verification checks. Perform routine CQP (quality) verification checks. Perform routine daily SSOP/GMP audits and observations/documentation. Perform environmental monitoring swabs. Perform product sampling pulls. Perform Trim Receiving Inspections. Perform Preop Inspection. Participate in sensory panels. Manage Holds Tags on the floor. Product testing for chemical attributes on the floor. Follow all SQF principles pertinent to your position as specified by the SQF Practitioner. All food safety and human safety concerns need to be reported to appropriate personnel such as Safety Manager, FSQ Manager, etc. All other duties as assigned Qualifications Knowledge: Excellent computer literacy (MS Office, Word, Excel) Excellent oral and written skills Excellent reasoning and mathematical Skills Strong leadership skills Education/Experience: 1-2 years’ experience in a similar job function Food manufacturing experience desired Experience in reviewing results and correlating to acceptable/unacceptable results Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
