Responsibilities

The Targeting Analyst will work with a team of Research, Development, and Acquisition (RDA) Analysts and linguists to collect, analyze, and examining cutting-edge technologies and potential threats to vital U.S. systems and programs. Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Researching and analyzing Publicly Available Information (PAI) regarding foreign maritime research, development, and acquisition activities and organizations.

  • Providing all-source analysis of translated open-source intelligence and highly classified data using advanced analytic tools and tradecraft

  • Producing finished intelligence produces that adhere to Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) 203 and 206

  • Creating graphical representations of collected data using link analysis/analytical software applications to aid with analysis and the development of intelligence products.

  • Assisting in developing and maintaining information repositories to document ongoing research efforts and collected data using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and other formats for importation into link analysis/analytical software applications such as Palantir and Analyst Notebook.

  • Identifying collection gaps to supporting the development of new collection requirements.

  • Responding to external and internal customer Requests for Information (RFIs)

  • Attending and facilitating meetings (including classified), preparing agendas, tracking action items, and distributing minutes

Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or relevant training and/or certifications
  • Experience with intelligence analysis tools and databases (Such as DataExplorer, Cultweave, Voltron, Multi-Media Message Monitor (M3), Palantir, Analyst Notebook, Quantum Leap Intelligence Exchange (Qlix), Terrorist Identities Database Environment (TIDE), Tripwire Analytical Capability (TAC), Kaching, and others)

  • Experience conducting OSINT analysis using PAI tools and tradecraft

  • Experience using Palantir, Analyst Notebook, or other similar tools is required

  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining databases using Microsoft Excel and Access

  • Experience querying various analytic databases

  • Familiarity with a wide range of technical terminology and technical disciplines with an emphasis on space sensors, space platforms and command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C4ISR) disciplines.
