Advocates for Human Potential Senior Program Associate in Sudbury, Massachusetts

Advocates for Human Potential, Inc. (AHP), is seeking a Senior Program Associate to help manage projects; attend to fiscal concerns; complete project deliverables; carry out meeting, training, and technical assistance activities. The Senior Program Associate will be working with the Access to Recover (ATR) Program, a 6-month program designed for individuals who have a substance use disorder (SUD), and who are seeking support with their recovery. Under the supervision of the ATR Program Director, this individual will support the ATR project in the following ways: Collaborating with the Program Director to: Provide ongoing oversight of external staff and providers to ensure procedures and protocols are being followed and regularly report on findings; monitor standardization of policies and procedures across all sites. Work in close collaboration with the AHP- ATR team as well as the ATR Coordination Agencies and ATR providers to resolve issues or provide support as needed. Provide recommendations for improvement. Ensure providers are fulfilling audit requirements. Collaborating with the CBI (Career Building services) Program Manager to provide ongoing oversight and technical assistance to current CBI providers. Assist with onboarding new job training providers Utilize the customized electronic data system (Falling Colors) and its dashboards to access data and develop reports for quality oversight, program operations, and program development When safe to do so, travel to any of the cities/regions where ATR operates (Boston, New Bedford, Springfield/Holyoke, Worcester) for trainings, meetings, and conferences. Work with the ATR Communications Manager on contributions to newsletters, marketing materials, website, or contact lists. Knowledge and Traits Candidates with the following knowledge and traits are encouraged to apply: General Social policy on health and human service topics, with subject matter expertise in substance use disorders and/or workforce development preferred. Organizational development and cross-system collaboration Ability to provide formal training Ability to provide in-person and virtual technical assistance to providers/client Budget planning, implementation, and oversight Task management Ability to lead teams in small project assignments Ability to supervise and mentor one-two staff members Education and Training Candidates for this position must possess a bachelor?s degree at minimum. A master?s degree in social work, behavioral health, public health, or similar field is strongly preferred. Professional experience may be substituted for the education requirement. Professional Experience We are seeking candidates with at least five years of management and supervising experience, which includes managing complex processes and procedures, managing grants or contracts, and directing and evaluating staff performance.
