RC Mowers manufactures industry-leading Autonomous Mowing Robots and Remote-Operated Robotic Mowers that crush business challenges and create opportunities for profitability and growth. RC Mowers is more than mowerswe are redefining the business of mowing. THE ROLE As an Assembly Technician, you are involved in many tasks from the start to the finish of the operations. This includes building small and large mechanical assemblies, electrical wiring work, computer and electronics assembly, fuel systems, shipping/delivery activities, programming, testing, troubleshooting, and much more. Other duties may include sales events and engineering research support. We are a close-knit team full of innovators and dedicated team members. This role is critical to the success of our product. In this role, the Assembly Technician reports to our Production Manager. Production Operations Ability and understanding to work at one station of mechanical assembly. Meet machine/assembly build deadlines. Fill workstation with needed parts, hardware, and tools to complete work orders. Communicate any quality questions/concerns. Communicate inventory questions/concerns. Communicate parts shortages on the Parts Board and to manager. Offer continuous improvement suggestions to enhance products and processes. Collaborate with purchasing department to audit inventory as needed. Ensure production area and factory is clean, organized, and free of unneeded items. Team Collaboration Engage within the production team to exemplify RC Mowers values and culture. Provide open and candid communication with teammates and management. Attend bi-weekly Production Huddles Attend all safety meetings as required. Maintain attendance in accordance with company policy. Adherence to company policies and procedures.
