About the role

Responsible for overseeing activities related to a companys products and services, Their primary duties include improving productivity and efficiency, reducing costs and securing high-quality materials for the company.

Reporting to the Site Manager or Regional Supply Chain Manager, this person will lead all supply chain management processes and activities across the supply site to the benefit of external and internal customers and supply chain operations. The role will also ensure that the following activities are planned, organized and controlled to meet agreed targets and KPIs set, from receipt of order through to dispatch to customer at lowest total cost, including:

Key responsibilities

  • Demand plans of what to sell and hold in stock to meet sales.

  • Planning of sales, stocks, capacity and raw materials

  • Scheduling of production activities

  • Setting stock policy

  • Raw materialscall off

  • Managing team and talent

  • The breadth of the role will develop as the supply chain and production strategies evolve

Specific Areas of Responsibility:

  • Responsible for budgeted cost structure associated with the above

  • Custodian of the customer and business rules to ensure optimal supply to markets and customers. Actively manage the customer service department to meet customers needs.

  • Creation of a doable and monthly rolling supply chain plan of what we are going to sell, hold in stock and production capacity for the site.Communicate this to the business as often as needed, together with the supply chain implications of the plan.

  • Set stock levels for finished products, including minimum inventory levels, batch sizes and frequency of manufacture in agreement with supply chain and production colleagues.

  • Minimise the total costs of supply to include stockholding costs, write offs and delivery costs to customers.

  • Coordinate and influence sales and operational planning activities, including the chairing of monthly meetings to reduce and maintain a live portfolio of products, obtain clarity of new product launch dates, volumes and rules, get slow moving stock sold and negotiating with internal departments to increase stock velocity.

  • Ensure that operations are scheduled on time to meet customers requirements and achieve a balance between responsiveness and stability through a focused results oriented approach with an ability to challenge the status quo and provide pragmatic solutions.

  • Maintain parameters to ensure accurate scheduling of production and optimization of raw material stocks.

Qualifications and skills

  • 5 Years experience in Supply Chain

  • Experience leading Teams.

  • Relevant Supply Chain degree.

  • Good experience in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access and ERP systems

  • SAP experience is essential.

Compensation Data

The typical hiring range for this role is $105,129 to $159,134 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements.
