JOB REQUIREMENTS: Greet and provide assistance to customers. Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise. Clean shelves, counters, and tables. Compute sales, prices, and total purchases. Receive and process cash or credit card payment. Describe merchandise and explain use, operation, and care of merchandise to customers. Open and close cash registers, performing tasks such as counting money, separating charge slips, coupons and vouchers, and balancing cash drawers. Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires. Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent and handle these situations. Stock shelves and coolers. Assist in other duties as assigned. Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality. Bag or package purchases, and wrap gifts. Compute sales prices, total purchases and receive and process cash or credit payment. Greet customers and ascertain what each customer wants or needs. Open and close cash registers, performing tasks such as counting money, separating charge slips, coupons, and vouchers, balancing cash drawers, and making deposits. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, basic math functions, ability to multi-task and ability to work as a team.
