Description

Robert Half has an opportunity for you to become a critical part of an innovative company, as a full-time Senior Accounting. This position will challenge your skills as your juggle multiple components. In this role, it will be critical for you to prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation. If you can perform internal reporting during the monthly close, participate in compliance, interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules reporting processes, you will succeed in this role. Located in the Stuart, Florida area, this position is a challenging, multi-faceted opportunity to work for a company that recognizes and rewards hard work. What you get to do every day

  • Assist in the month end, quarter end and year end closing process including monthly financial close workbook preparation

-Responsible for the day-to-day operational accounting including AP, AR, Payroll, purchase orders etc.

  • Manage reconciliation, depreciation, and fixed asset ledgers

  • Ad-hoc reporting and special projects, as requested

  • Perform month end close, journal entries, with minimum supervision

  • In-depth knowledge of reconciling month end balance sheet accounts

  • Maintain intercompany transactions, billings, and reconciliation

  • Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses for management reporting

  • Participate in various department-wide initiatives

  • Periodic maintenance and reconciliation of journal entries

  • Assemble journal entries and thorough account reconciliations that include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll

  • Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls. Also ensure that accounting procedures comply with GAAP

  • Coordinate and analyze a variety of financial data, then report it in a way that is useful and understandable

  • Arrange schedules for capital lease and monthly payment

Requirements - Notable analytical, quantitative and social skills

  • 3+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience

  • BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Proficient in ERP systems

  • Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems

  • Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills

  • Spreadsheet and database capabilities

  • Sage Intacct experience

  • Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment

  • Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
