About the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager&Site Leader to our Manufacturing Site in Strzelin.

As the Operations Manager & Site Leader you will oversee the day-to-day activities of the company, ensuring that the organization is managed and performing efficiently and effectively. Operations Manager & Site Leader will provide leadership and oversee the entire organization to reach its goals and achieve its mission. At this position you will be responsible for strategically managing the operations and organization. Responsibilities include developing an organization’s policies, strategizing ways to meet goals, ensuring that operations abide by relevant laws and regulations and making sure that any decisions or actions align with the interests of the company.

  • Asses the overall direction and strategy of the business

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the business

  • Make policy decisions to guide the organization

  • Manage conflict and maintain a positive work environment

  • Recruit, supervise, retain, and evaluate managers in the organization

  • Cascade the company's vision, mission, and goals to the organization

  • Govern the organization and maintain relationships with the company's regional/global structure

  • Protect the organization's assets and investments

  • Represent the organization in public and attend events on its behalf

  • Establish and manage budgets, internal controls, and resources

  • Ensure legal compliance and ethical integrity

  • Set up policies for to establish acceptable behavior

  • Legal duty to be transparent and accountable for actions and inactions

  • Act responsibly and make informed decisions

  • Drive overall profitability of the organization and customer satisfaction

  • Investigate and implement innovative methods to reduce costs and improve product quality in manufacturing processes

  • Plan and coordinate all manufacturing operations of production, machinery, processing, and shipping

  • Manage manufacturing cost structures and investigate cost-reduction measures

  • Ensure a safe and adequate work environment

  • Plan, direct, control, implement, evaluate, monitor, and forecast budgets and cost of sales

  • Communicate and explain new directives, policies, or procedures to managers and maintain staff morale

  • Project a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree

  • BS or Ba in operations management, business, engineering or related field

  • MBA degree required

  • Proven experience in managing production

  • Diversified background with at least 10+ years (plant operations, engineering or management experience)

  • Experience in reporting on key production metrics

  • Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations

  • Deep knowledge of operations management

  • Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts

  • Thorough understanding of practices, theories, and policies involved in business and finance

  • Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently

  • Outstanding communication ability

  • Excellent organizational and leaderships skills

  • Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Fluent English

  • No criminal record
