Fabricated Components Inc. Finisher, Spray Operator in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania

This position provides for the spraying and finishing of furniture parts and assemblies for efficient processing of products. 

  • Set-up and efficiently operate various spray equipment or other equipment for the finishing of furniture parts and assemblies according to specifications, written and verbal instructions, selection and matching of finishes and stains.
  • May handle, count, stack, sort or otherwise prepare materials for finishing and transporting, maintaining written records of part counts and other documentation as necessary. 
  • Perform preventive maintenance, and check for abnormal wear for such equipment and troubleshooting to ensure necessary repairs/adjustments are addressed to keep the equipment in good operating condition.
  • Maintain safe, clean and organized work areas and use protective equipment per company safety requirements.
  • Cross training and substitution of tasks that may be of higher classification as may be required.
  • Experience or specialized training in the use of finishing equipment such as UV roll coating and automated spray system is a plus.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and dexterity; ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to make appropriate decisions regarding safety in handling materials and be responsive to changing work environments.
  • Ability to work/communicate effectively and respectfully with co-workers and to adhere to company rules, policies and standards of conduct. 
  • Ability to read and understand drawings and accurately use a variety of measurement devices.
  • Must be able to work in a production environment that may be subject to varied temperatures and other conditions, such as noise, dust, paint/finish and glue or adhesives. 
  • High School Diploma and/or GED equivalent.
  • This position is full time, Monday through Friday 40 hours a week. 
  • Commensurate wage with experience. Complete benefit package available such as Healthcare, 401(k) and paid time off.
