We have an immediate opportunity for a DIRECTOR OF FINANCE Responsibilities Position Summary: As a key member of the Management team, the Director of Finance will report to the North America Finance Director and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the business unit. The Director of Finance will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the business unit. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, legal, and SOX compliance. Duties/Responsibilities: 1. Strategy As a true business partner to the Site Director, assess organizational performance against both the annual budget and the business unit\'s long-term strategy. 2. Executive Management Serve as a member of executive leadership team. 3. Financial Planning and Analysis Prepare and maintain regular financial planning reports; Monthly profit and loss forecast by division (vs. budget). 4. Finance Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed. 5. Planning Coordinate the development and monitoring of budgets. 6. Team Management Manage work allocation, training, problem resolution, performance evaluation, and the building of an effective team dynamic. 7. Accounting Activities Oversee preparation of month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial statements. 9. Cash Management Oversee weekly cash management and approve weekly payables. 10. Risk Management M nitor all open legal issues involving ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: the business unit/industry Qualifications Education & Experience: A Bachelor\'s degree in business administration, accounting, or finance with C.P.A and/or M.B.A is required. At least ten years of experience in financial management within a manufacturing facility with increasing responsibilities for multi-faceted direction and planning. Cost accounting experience is highly recommended. Knowledge of database and accounting computer application systems to supply the most accurate financial information.
