Job Information

Lockheed Martin Digital Drafter (AutoCAD) Intern in Stratford, Connecticut

Description: Support the Sikorsky Facilities Design, Construction and Engineering organization to oversee the drafting requirements for the project management group, including as built generation and what if scenarios.

Prepare and monitor progress of factory and office space layouts.

Milestone: Report weekly progress to DCE management.

Measure of success: Complete as built drawing of entire Stratford factory space

Basic Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and architectural drafting

Experience in other computer applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Experience in leading a team, as well as the proven ability to work effectively within a team environment

Possess good communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to present to departmental management.

Team player willing to work in a creative, fast paced atmosphere

Desired Skills:

Currently enrolled in 4 year degree program

Ideally pursuing degree in Architectural Drafting or Engineering
