Growing company, SPIROL Shims, Stow, OH is adding full time positions on 2nd and 3rd shift for a Press Operator with experience working on thin metals with close tolerances. The qualified candidate must have good mechanical aptitude, consistently display sound judgment, and the ability to problem solve. The Press Operator is responsible for the loading of raw material, setting and operating of the machine. To set and run presses within the standard times required for the product being produced. To comply with all the procedures and workmanship standards relevant to the production of product, including first and last off, and in process quality checks. Experience with 30 - 100 ton open back punch single die manual press. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must be a High School graduate or equivalent. Must be at least 18 years of age. Able to read and interpret drawings, prints and production routing. Ability to utilize and interpret inspection gauges and equipment. Ability to follow priorities, achieve goals and coordinate activities in a timely and cost-effective manner. No sitting, lifting or bending restrictions. Must be able to lift 35 lbs. Must be able to pass post-offer background check, drug test and physical.
