Actalent Project Controls Scheduler in Stow, Ohio

Description:

Seeking an entry level Scheduler that will support all aspects of project controls and reporting, including project change management, cost control, progress measurement, schedule development and schedule control.

  • Assist with developing, implementing and maintaining a cost management reporting data warehouse to produce program controls reports and data.

  • Coordinate project schedules and assist with the development of scheduling reports.

  • Review data; maintain logs; and run reports in the Enterprise Planning & Controls software or other tools.

  • Perform budget tracking against Purchase Orders or Subcontracts.

  • Assist and document change orders and cash flow.

  • Assist quality checks and inspections on project controls deliverables.

  • All other duties as assigned.

This position is working for a reputable firm on site at FE in downtown Akron. They are running all of the substation and T-line upgrade projects for FE. They project is slated to go through 2024 at the earliest till all of the infrastructure gets updated. This person will be a scheduler on the project controls team. They will be working hand and hand with the PM's that are running these projects and updating the schedule in P6.

Primavera, Primavera P6, cost control, project controls

Preferred Qualifications:

Construction Management or Engineering degree preferred

Experience scheduling construction projects in P6 a plus.
