Job Summary: Join our team to perform skilled activities crucial for our manufacturing operations. You'll leverage your mechanical aptitude and technical skills, collaborating with teams to ensure safety, quality, and productivity across the board. With your hands-on experience and ability to interpret technical information, you'll play a vital role in maintaining our equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)

  • Identify and report hazards promptly.

  • Adhere to HSE standards rigorously, including proper use of personal protective equipment.

  • Actively participate in HSE training and promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness.

Quality

  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship.

  • Perform maintenance tasks following specifications and quality procedures.

  • Contribute to preventive maintenance and quality inspection processes.

Delivery

  • Execute assigned tasks efficiently, contributing to equipment uptime and reliability.

  • Conduct preventive, emergency, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficient operations.

Teamwork

  • Communicate effectively with team members and support teams.

  • Participate in training and development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.

  • Collaborate with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams for process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Competencies:

Skills:

  • Nimble learning and driving results, with a strong sense of self-awareness.

  • Proficiency in recognizing and addressing safety hazards in a manufacturing environment.

  • Demonstrated understanding of health and safety fundamentals and manufacturing processes.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.

  • Relevant certifications/licenses for safety and compliance in a manufacturing setting.

Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience or intermediate knowledge gained through education or on-the-job training.

  • Proficiency with fabrication shop equipment, mechanical troubleshooting, and interpreting technical drawings.

Additional Responsibilities Unique to this Position:

  • Manage fabrication processes and equipment, including welding and machining tasks.

  • Troubleshoot production machinery and ensure adherence to technical specifications.

  • Utilize computer skills for operational tasks and documentation.

Top Skills Desired:

  • Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with hand tools.

  • Background in welding/machining and ability to interpret technical drawings.

  • Multitasking capabilities and commitment to good attendance and safety practices.

Work Details:

  • Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 6am-4pm, with occasional overtime as needed.

  • Compensation: Up to $22.22/hr
