$500 for 500 hours sign-on bonus

Job Description

Caregiving does not require experience or certifications, only the willingness and ability to help others in their daily lives with the help of a written care plan. Qualifications:

  • Must complete the agency's employment process.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must exhibit maturity, responsible behavior, and understand consumer confidentiality.
  • Must be able to follow directions, and work as a team.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from assignments.
  • Must pass drug screen

Duties:

  • Planning and preparing meals (some with dietary restriction)
  • Housekeeping includes vacuuming, cleaning kitchen and bathroom, laundry and bed linens.
  • Providing companionship, and stimulation for the consumer (reading, walks)
  • Accompanying the consumer to appointments (If needed).
  • Grocery shopping, or other errands when needed (If approved.)
  • Perform any personal care for the consumer as needed.
  • Assist with ambulation(walking) when consumer uses mechanical aids such as a walker.
  • Other duties as assigned.
