This role is open to all skill levels, from Junior to more experienced machinists.

Job Opportunity

Due to sustained growth Labman are seeking to recruit a CNC Machinist to join the team.

Labman deliver bespoke robotics and software systems to major companies and public bodies all over the world. The job will be challenging and dynamic with opportunities to work with a huge range of established and emergent technologies, providing you with opportunities to learn and develop your skillset.

You will be working alongside a dedicated team of mechanical, electrical and software engineers at Labman's HQ in North Yorkshire, UK. It is a creative and innovative environment, full of the latest robotic systems and technology, as well as climbing walls, gym and even a squash court.

What the Job Involves

• Manufacturing parts for bespoke systems to a high quality

Essential Capabilities

• A basic understanding and ability to interpret engineering drawings to ISO 9001 Quality Standard

• Passion and enthusiasm for engineering

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Desirable skills / experience

• Experience programming or operating any of the following:

  • Haas CNC mills (VF5, 3P)

  • Haas CNC lathe (TL1)

  • CNC Router (Texcel, CNC dynamics)

  • XYZ Protrak controller

  • Doosan turning centre (Lynx 220LM)

• Ability to create drawings from SolidWorks assemblies

• Experience training colleagues

• An interest in fabrication
