About the Role:

The Role: Software Engineer triCalculate

The Team: triCalculate, part of Osttra, offers web-based centralized services for high performance XVA risk calculations, independent trade valuations, margin, and capital requirement calculations for OTC derivatives. The application development team is responsible for everything from Kubernetes to frontend. We usually work together in smaller groups, trying to both spread knowledge and minimize context switches. We have a lot of autonomy in our decisions and take great pride in having a working and maintainable system.

The Impact: Our service helps clients access the powerful calculations performed by our sister team. We work closely with business and product management to deliver good solutions to the problems our clients have.

What We're Looking For:

Basic Qualifications:

  • A couple of years of experience in web/systems development

  • Desire to work with tools such as Python, Docker, MySQL, Cassandra, RabbitMQ, git, Kubernetes, React/TypeScript

  • Fluent in English

  • Be comfortable working closely with your colleagues and respect everyone's opinions regardless of seniority or background

  • Embrace diversity and be respectful to all colleagues and clients
