The Role:

Reporting to the Nordic HR Retail Manager based in Denmark, your role will involve providing comprehensive HR support to our Managers and Employees in Sweden across a range of HR-related areas.

You will be an integral part of our Nordic HR team, which currently consists of one member in Norway, one in Finland, and five in Denmark. Your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with our Swedish commercial team on recruitment, employee development, HR processes, compliance with employment laws, and administrative tasks, all tailored to meet the specific needs of our retail operations.

Your tasks include among others:

  • General HR administration related to the employment of the Swedish employees.

  • Recruitment from a-z, including advertising, screening of applicants, and interviewing.

  • Implementing and driving HR processes related to retail in Sweden including facilitating the work environment group (AMU).

  • Facilitation of training both in Sweden and across the Nordics both physical and virtual.

  • Be a trusted advisor to the Swedish Sales organization.

  • Handling legal issues including taking part in negotiations with unions.

  • Training of managers in processes and employment law.

  • Support rollout of engagement activities

Qualifications

As an HR Retail Business Partner, you'll play a key role in supporting field Managers, which means regular visits to our stores. You can also expect occasional travel to our Nordic head office in Copenhagen (2-3 times a year). The majority of your time will be spent at our Swedish Sales Office in Stockholm.

You are structured, detail-oriented, and a team player. As a person, you should be outgoing, proactive, and service-minded. You excel in handling high-complexity tasks, paying close attention to detail, and managing multiple tasks simultaneously. You have the ability to plan your workday effectively and prioritize tasks accordingly. Given that the majority of the Swedish population is based in stores, you should thrive in an environment where there may be days with a limited number of colleagues in the office.

We're seeking candidates with min 2-3 years of HR experience, preferably in Retail. This role demands a high level of independence, so you should be ready to work autonomously.

In addition, the preferred candidate has the following profile:

  • A Bachelor's degree in HR or an equivalent Business Degree

  • Solid and documented knowledge of Swedish employment law/detajlhandelsavtalet

  • Experience with handling legal cases and negotiating with unions

  • Has experience with recruitment and training/facilitation

  • Experienced user of MS Office

  • Speaks and writes Swedish and English fluently, knowledge of other Scandinavian languages is a plus.

  • A good understanding of systems as we work with HRIS, Recruitment systems, and time management systems

  • Experience in a Nordic role is a plus
