Department : Tax & Treasury
Reports To : Head of Tax & Treasury.
Location : Any of our AniCura country office locations in Europe.[Hybrid]

About the role
Anicura is looking for a Group Tax Specialist responsible for international tax at AniCura.
To be successful in this role you need to be experienced in managing stakeholders from various functions and levels and thrive in a high pace environment with an eagerness to organise and structure the work and processes. The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration and organisational skills, and a determined drive for results. Since the location is flexible, experience and comfort in working in a digital environment is essential.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Build, maintain and lead transfer pricing initiatives, such as improving current processes and ensuring an efficient transfer pricing documentation process together with external tax advisers
Support the M&A and treasury team by evaluating tax implications and structuring considerations of contemplated acquisitions
Support the Head of Tax & Treasury in all tax related activities.
Lead and/or manage the tax side of restructuring projects
Support local market tax functions with local issues and requests to ensure compliance with local legislation
Support the treasury function and legal team where needed
Support the business on any ad hoc tax items where needed through collaboration with corporate tax and external advisers.
Ad hoc support on tax matters including corporate income tax, withholding taxes, and VAT
You are expected to have:
An academic degree in finance, ideally with a specialism within tax. Professional certification within one or more tax areas is beneficial
5+ years of experience from a similar role in an international company
Strong collaboration skills and drive for results
Strong project management skills
Be confident to work independently and proactively, manage stakeholder expectations and be able to prioritize tasks
Very strong written and verbal communication skills with comfort in challenging status quo
Attention to detail and excellent organisational and technical skills
