Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health Programming Coordinator in Stockbridge, Massachusetts

POSITION SUMMARY The Programming Coordinator is responsible for the administrative work for Luminary, Access & Equity, and Regenerative Community Programming in order to process contracts, program builds in both our Hospitality Management System (ResortSuite) and to support Programmers in meeting all booking and marketing deadlines. Key skills needed for this role are strong attention to detail, excellent written and oral communications, ability to maintain positive and professional relationships with valued presenters and community partners. The ideal candidate will be organized, self-motivated and remain focused and accurate in their work product. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. High level of confidentiality is key in this role. ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES - Work closely with programmers to cultivate and support presenter relationships - Request and manage essential program information once a program is confirmed - Submit completed booked forms to get programs contracted, built in our system and promoted - Partner with programmers and marketing in requesting and submitting program descriptions, presenter headshots and bios - Partner with key internal departments to execute programs and events - Evaluate program effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvement - Manage unsolicited Program Proposals - Track and submit invoices and other related budget submissions including travel expenses and stipends - Partner with Manager to prepare for monthly programming and marketing meetings to review programs - Attend weekly and biweekly Program Vetting/Creative meeting and Virtual Boards meetings - Perform other duties as assigned by Management COMPETENCIES - Demonstrated commitment to valuing equity, diversity and contributing to an inclusive environment. - Possesses strong core ethics, integrity, and values consistent with Kripalu\'s organizational principles. - Builds effective relationships, identifies internal and external customer expectations, sees issues from their point of view; offers practical, mutually beneficial recommendations, solutions, and ideas. - Willingness and ability to be agile in work, supporting across own department as well as across the organization as needed. - Demonstrates the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform required job elements to established standards, remaining current regarding development and trends in areas of expertise. - Embraces experiences as learning opportunities. - Accepts responsibility for personal and professional learning and growth. - Models the values of Kripalu including service, presence, inquiry, compassion, practice, and integrity. MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS - Associate\'s degree or related experience. - Experience and knowledge of experiential programming, education, or transformational industry; knowledge of key teachers and authors. - Additional trainings and certifications - Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to manage multiple deadlines to achieve departmental and organizational goals. - Proficiency in MS Office products and Internet research, as well as the ability to learn in-house technical applications.
