Lakeview Memorial Hospital Association Ultrasound Technologist in Stillwater, Minnesota

The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic Ultrasound examinations to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician under the direction of a Radiologist. Performs abdominal, retroperitoneal, OB/GYN, small part scans and ultrasound guided procedures, such as cyst aspirations. Must be able to recognize the difference between normal and abnormal images. Work Schedule: 0.5 FTE M-F: 3pm-11:30pm with weeknight weekend and Holiday call rotation! Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited two-year allied health program or two years of college with emphasis on the biological sciences and completion of a formal medical Sonography training program (one-year minimum) or equivalent experience RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical sonographer) via ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) Registered Vascular Technologist/Vascular Technology (RVT/VT) Certification within 180 days of employment via ARDMS or RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist) via CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) If employment involves Breast Ultrasound, then Breast Certification(BR) via ARDMS required within 180 days of employment. If employment involves OB Clinic rotation, then OB Certification (OB/GYN) via ARDMS required within 180 days of employment.
