JOB REQUIREMENTS: This position is primarily responsible for delivering direct ABA individualized lessons to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, following written programs and behavior support plan, generalizing skills, conducting extra learning opportunities and accepting and implementing feedback given by supervisors by performing the following duties: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Adheres to professional and legal requirements and principles as well as demonstrating sound professional judgement at all times. Collects data accurately during treatment without falsifying data. Demonstrates ability to work effectively as part of a clinical team. Converses and interacts with staff professionally, compassionately and ethically. Demonstrates respect for his/her superiors. Collaborates with family and caregivers professionally and ethically. Runs programs with integrity and indicates to BCBA any confusion or gaps in programs respectfully and professionally. Seeks the consultation of more experienced supervisors when unsure of implementation procedures when necessary. Projects an image of professionalism, integrity and quality to families and caregivers as well as new employees. Attend any meetings and trainings deemed mandatory by the company. Meets the basic care needs of the clients/children you are working with including, but not limited to, diapering, bathrooming, feeding, drinking, and personal hygiene. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job.
